November Events at The Everyman Theatre
Throughout November 2008
November brings us a diverse programme of exciting performances at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham. This month sees some spine chilling theatre, comedy, the last night at the Proms opera, something for the children including the much anticipated start of the pantomime. This year it’s Aladdin - so get your tickets booked for the best panto in the West!!
What's on at the Everyman Theatre in November 2008...1 November: Barry Cryer – ‘Still Alive’ Barry presents a nostalgic new show featuring jokes, songs and stories.
3 - 8 November: Woman in Black Based on the best selling novel by Susan Hill this spine tingling favourite visits the Cheltenham stage.
4 - 8 November: Resting Written by a local actor, Nick Wilkes this is the hilarious story of four out of work actors waiting for their big break.
6 - 8 November: We’re Going on a Bearhunt Children will love this adaptation of a favourite book as it is brought to the stage in a vibrant (and noisy) show.
9 November: Endsleigh Last Night at the Proms Now in its tenth year another suburb show with the Glevum Symphony Orchestra.
10 - 13 November: Absurd Person Singular Alan Ayckbourn’s unforgettable comedy.
17 - 22 November: Don’t Look Now Daphne de Maurier‘s chilling thriller is brought to Cheltenham with a star cast featuring James Gassa (Bad Girls), Rula Lenska and Nicola Bryant (Dr Who)
28 November: Aladdin The Everyman's annual family friendly pantomime is back, complete with a fantastic flying carpet, magic tricks, good clean fun and frolics with Wishee Washee and Widow Twankey and, of course, wishful thinking with the Genie of the Lamp. Studio Theatre13 – 22 November: The Everyman Youth Theatre Shakespeare Festival Four of Shakespeare’s play will be presented over 2 weeks.
13 – 15 November: The Everyman Youth Theatre Shakespeare Festival As You Like It and the Tempest adapted by Nicola Golightly for the Studio Theatre.
20 – 22 November: The Everyman Youth Theatre Shakespeare Festival Macbeth and Twelfth Night adapted by Nicola Golightly for the Studio Theatre.
26 - 29 November: Miss Fit An adult fairy tale based on the experiences of an achondroplasic. This play explores the dark side of society’s fixation with body image. County Bar 14 November: Late Night Jazz with Dick Pearce A stalwart of Ronnie Scott’s bands and accomplished trumpeter performs with the Alex Steele Trio. ________________________________________ - Event: November Events at The Everyman Theatre
