'Walk in the miners' footsteps' at Clearwell Caves
13 February 2010
An opportunity to visit the Deep Levels of Clearwell Caves, to see them as the miners saw them.
An exciting chance to visit areas of the caves which are not normally seen. This mine exploration trip is a caving activity and will involve scrambling through intricate abandoned mine workings. A great day out doing something fun and unusual with your children during the school holiday.
No previous experience required, but you should be reasonably agile; overalls and equipment are provided. Please wear old loose clothing and boots or wellies with a good grip.
This is a 3 hour activity including kitting up.
Please pre-book and arrive promptly. Suitable for children from 7 years upwards.
