The songs he sings are his own, drawn from his experiences and wise observations about the world around him. They run the gamut from instrumental beauties to hard-rocking blues, and everything in between.

An outstanding blues, folk [and more] fusion band. Their sound is powerful, original and contemporary combining traditional blues slide, harmonica, winebox guitar and vocals with the African drums, stomp and bass and all with great musicianship. They are the upcoming blues/folk act on the scene in the UK and Europe– the one you can’t afford to miss.4.50
4.50pm: Mumbo-Jumbo
Mumbo-Jumbo are regulars at Blues at The Fold, bringing their own brand of close-harmony piano-led versatility, and sounding like no-one else on the circuit. 6.20pm: The Tommy Allen Band
Tommy Allen is one of the UK's top blues guitar players. He has played with many of the blues legends and has completed 3 UK tours with ex-Muddy Waters harp player Mojo Buford and supported Gary Moore on a UK and European tour as guitarist to American bluesman Otis Taylor.

Steve Roux on guitar and vocals heads up this Kickin’ & Swingin’ blues band with horns.

One of the best harp players in the land, Simon ‘Honeyboy’ Hickling will be blowing up a storm with his fantastically tight band. Three decades of touring and recording have honed his individual, blistering harp technique and vocal style to earn him an international reputation as a virtuoso player. He is truly a great frontman/singer/ harp player and a damn fine songwriter of catchy quirky roots tunes. His band features three of the very best blues session players in the Midlands.
