Bank Holiday Monday 5 June: Tudor Fun Day
The terrible royal Tudors comes to life with a real Henry VIII and his merry wives. Enjoy archery, falconry display, minstrels and circus skills in this special day for children. There is also an interactive nature trail and an adventure playground with a fort complete with zip wire, slide and towers.
Time: 10.30am-4.30pm
Tickets: Included in the general ticket price. Family ticket is £27 (2 adults and 3 children).
Monday June 11: Literary Lunch Day
Tim Porter gives a historical talk about Sudeley Castle followed by authors Linda Porter, Susan James and Janel Mueller discussing Queen Katherine Parr who spent the last part of her life at Sudeley. This year Sudeley Castle is celebrating the 500th anniversary of her birth.

Friday 15 June: Lectureby Dr David Starkey followed by champagne reception
Renowned Tudor historian Dr David Starkey gives a lecture on Queen Katherine Parr, the last wife of Henry VIII who spent the last part of her life at Sudeley Castle. Dr Starkey, whose TV series included Monarchy and Elizabeth I, describes Katherine as “the most intelligent, the most educated and cleverest of Henry’s queens”.

Thursday 17 June: Sir Roddy Llewelyn
To mark the end of Sudeley’s Rose Week, Sir Roddy - Sudeley’s Design Consultant for the Gardens - will host a garden lecture on the history of roses.
