Richard Fleeshman to turn on the Christmas lights in Cheltenham 2007

It has been confirmed by STAR 107.5 FM that the special celebrity guest switching on the lights this Christmas in Cheltenham at the Imperial Gardens on Saturday 24 November 2007 will be ex-Corrie star Richard Fleeshman.

He'll be joining Brody, Craig and the STAR 107.5 FM team at the Xmas party night in Cheltenham with big screens and musical entertainment, as well as performing his brand new single which is available through general release in the UK from 19 November.

Richard, best known for his part as Craig Harris in the ITV's soap Coronation Street decided to take a full time career in singing after winning the ITV's Soapstar Superstar back in 2006. Since then he's gone from strength to strength and we're sure the girl contingent will be very excited!

Order of festive fun:

  • 5.15pm Christmas Lights switch on Regent Arcade
  • 5.30pm Christmas Lights switch on Beechwood Shopping Centre, Father
    Christmas and parade to main stage at new location Imperial Gardens

Main Stage: Imperial Gardens, Cheltenham

From 4.30pm All types of Christmas fun and entertainment - Children from Leckhampton School signing carols, Kylie tribute act, Children from Stagecoach song, and dance routine, Cast from Everyman Theatre Panto 'Dick Whittington', Richard Fleeshman, a Kylie Minogue tribute and of course and of course The Mayor and Father Christmas (so far). Other acts to be added soon!
