Local Bus Operator Launches Easter ‘Spring Egg Hunt’

Easter on Stagecoach West buses

Stagecoach West has announced that certain buses within the region will feature bunny ears and Easter egg stickers on the windows. Passengers are invited to take a photo with the bunny ears for fun, or scan the QR codes within the Easter egg stickers in order to be taken to a competition page on the company’s website where they can be in with the chance of winning numerous prizes, including Sandford Parks Lido family annual passes and family cinema tickets.

Until Sunday 10th April, passengers riding on Stagecoach West buses should keep their eyes open for Easter egg stickers with QR codes in them. Once scanned, the QR code will take the tech-savvy passenger through to Stagecoach West’s competition page, where users can be in with the chance of winning a family annual pass to Sandford Parks Lido, family cinema tickets and meal tickets.

If passengers are not able to scan the QR code, they can also reach the page by visiting Stagecoach West buses.

Alongside the Easter egg stickers, some buses will also have bunny ear stickers which make for a great selfie or Instagram photo.

There are tickets available to suit all ages during the Easter holidays, in order to keep all the family entertained;

  • Those aged between 5 and 19 years old can travel for just £2 all day within their zone
  • The Family & Friends Explorer ticket is just £14.50 for four people to enjoy unlimited travel across all zones operated by Stagecoach West
  • The Belles Express now runs from Gloucester to Cribbs Causeway and Bristol City Centre, with return tickets ranging from £4 to £8

Orlaith Palmer, Marketing Manager for Stagecoach West, commented:
We had a lot of fun sifting through the images from the similar campaign we ran over Valentine’s Day, where users had the chance to win our vintage Routemaster for the day, and we’re excited to run this campaign over Easter. The competition is fun for all the family and everyone is sure to be keeping their eyes peeled for the bunny ears and Easter egg stickers. We can’t wait to see some of the images and selfies that people are going to take with our bunny ears, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for all who enter our competition.”
