Van Morrison to play at The Centaur, Chetenham
On Wednesday 30 April 2008 Van Morrison comes to the HSBC Cheltenham Jazz Festival 2008 to headline a programme which showcases the very best in international performers and world class music. We are thrilled that this truly unique artist joins the Festival for the launch of his new album 'Keep It Simple'.
Since bursting onto the music scene some 40 years ago Van Morrison has continued to delight audiences young and old with his trademark blend of blues, gospel and soul all performed with his special Celtic twist. From his seminal hit Gloria through to modern classics Brown Eyed Girl and Moondance ‘Van the Man’ brings an unrivalled back catalogue to the Cheltenham stage. With jazz at the very heart of Van’s music, this concert offers an unmissable addition to the Festival line-up.
