Popular Sculpture Exhibition extended at Dean Heritage Centre

Sculpture Exhibition extended at Dean Heritage Centre

Due to popular demand, the outdoor sculpture exhibition ‘Recycled & Reclaimed’, Sculptures from salvage "not just a load of old junk" has been extended into a phase two over the summer.  A range of sculptures have been added to the exhibition for this second phase.

The Dean Heritage Centre is delighted to re-present this outdoor exhibit, in partnership with Arts in the Marches.  The exhibition features work form local artists, makers and the chainsaw carvers based at the Dean Heritage Centre.  Take the opportunity to view things through different eyes, seeing the beauty in something that might otherwise have been discarded.

Over the summer holidays the team at the Dean Heritage Centre invites you to become explorers.

From Wednesday 26th July- Sunday 30th July Dean Archaeological Group will be leading an archaeological dig at the Dean Heritage Centre.  Join the team as they dig and discover what stories the site has to tell.

From Monday 31st July- Friday 1st September the team at the Dean Heritage Centre invite you to join them to explore how the Forest can be used as a resource.  Foraging has occurred throughout the ages, join a team of facilitators in a range of activities to understand how our ancestors relied upon the Forest to live.

Further details of these events will soon be listed on www.deanheritagecentre.com/events
