A Concert for Mothering Sunday at Gloucester Cathedral
Gloucester Cathedral is delighted to announce the first concert to be performed by the Cathedral Girl Choristers. This beautiful, musical offering for Mothering Sunday will take place in the stunning Cathedral Quire at 4.00pm on Sunday 11 March 2018.
Formed just over a year ago, under the direction of Nia Llewelyn Jones, the girls have quickly established themselves as part of the musical fabric of Gloucester Cathedral.
This special concert of music for upper voices features music from Lassus to Britten and the girls will be joined by their Patron, Dame Sarah Connolly OBE, who will perform some Schubert alongside them. Guests can enjoy a complimentary glass of pink fizz after the concert.
