Heston Blumenthal at the 2009 Times Cheltenham Science Festival
In an addition to the advertised programme – Cheltenham Festivals are delighted to welcome award-winning chef Heston Blumenthal to Cheltenham.
Famous for his unique and innovative approach to cooking, Heston Blumenthal will reveal the scientific secrets behind his culinary success as he talks to Festival Director Kathy Sykes. His triple Michelin-starred restaurant, the Fat Duck in Bray, is renowned for its multi-sensory menu and the research and development behind each dish.
Heston is no stranger to the Cheltenham Science Festival having previously starred in several sell-out events. Since his appearance at the first ever festival in 2002 Heston has achieved international acclaim through his ground-breaking BBC series Heston Blumenthal: In Search of Perfection and recent Channel 4 study of experimental cuisine Heston’s Feasts.
Don’t miss the opportunity to see this talented super-chef live at the Cheltenham Science Festival this June.
