Star 107.5 are proud to announce that following a massive overhaul by its new owners the radio station is possibly the biggest radio success story of the year.

• Star 107.5 can announce a 5 year extension of its broadcasting licence from OFCOM securing the future of Gloucestershires only truly local heritage radio station. This licence extension goes hand in hand with a complete turnaround of the stations fortunes, following the recruitment of the key sales staff from the now defunct ‘Severn Sound’ Star 107.5 are proud to confirm they are showing a healthy profit whilst offering more Live and Local programming than any other Radio station in the region.
• Star 107.5 was due to be closed down in December 2008 due to huge financial losses and a lack of investment from its owners but the future of the station is now secure following its takeover and it can finally be the radio station that the people of Gloucestershire deserve.
• Star 107.5 is the only radio station broadcasting from Gloucestershire 24 Hours every day with more Live, local programming than anyone else, just as you would expect from the regions only heritage commercial radio station.
• Star 107.5 has changed massively over the past 9 months since being re-launched with a full presenting team and new image.
• Star 107.5 are already attending more events and shows than any other media provider thanks to its fleet of promotional vehicles and in-house promotions team.
• Star 107.5 are proud to announce that our experienced presenters broadcast LIVE from Cheltenham to Gloucestershire and The Malverns daily from 6am until Midnight with an exciting new on-air line up and some extremely familiar voices well known throughout the region.
