Winner of 2010 Explore Gloucestershire Photography Competition

Explore Gloucestershire & Cotswold Weddings had another hard choice in picking the winner of the 2010 Gloucestershire at its Best Photography Competition.

The winner of the £250 prize went to Jo Holland from Manchester for her entry of a panormic view across the Cotswold escarpment in October 2010. Jo said, "Having just experienced a shower a beautiful rainbow appeared reaching across the sky. It was simply quite stunning and I fortunately had my camera with me".

Taken with a Fuji s8000 the photograph really picks out the warm autumn colours and the spectrm of light of the rainbow against the dark, atmospheric storm clouds.
