GL1 - Gloucester Leisure Centre is Gloucester's premier venue for numerous activities and entertainment. The leisure centre operates on a 'pay and play' basis and is open throughout the year. There's now a public Wi-Fi wireless internet access available throughout GL1, via 'The Cloud'.

GL1 for Swimming Pools

GL1 has a magnificent complex of four pools with a variety of sessions for beginners and splashers to serious swimmers. Have fun with the slide, jets, geysers and bubble beds of the Tad Pool. 'Horizons' - the state of the art fitness centre, is situated in the heart of GL1.

This friendly and modern facility comprises a large fitness arena with the latest cardiovascular and resistance equipment. The superb Glevum Hall with its sprung Granwood floor, the fully equipped Gymnastics Hall, Martial Arts Room, 4-rink bowls hall, activity room and 4 squash courts combine to offer a full range of indoor sporting activities. A wide range of spectator events will take place at GL1 throughout the year. The Glevum Hall can quickly transform into a 1750 seat concert hall for comedy and light entertainment or 2000 capacity pop concert venue, as well as hold sporting events both regional and national. GL1 - Memberships

At GL1 you are able to pay-and-play for most activities without the need for membership, but if you use the centre regularly, want unlimited access to HORIZONS Health & Fitness, or you are a Gloucester City resident - you could save money by becoming a GO! Card holder. GL1 membership.

GL1 - Disabled Access

The complex has excellent access and facilities for disabled visitors with easy access to all areas. Disabled parking is available outside the front doors, and lifts or ramped access to all areas. Hearing aid induction loops, disabled changing and toilet facilities and swimming pool chair lifts have been integrated into the complex.

Oxstalls Indoor Tennis Centre
