"I've been delighted to work with Jerry and his team at ExploreGloucestershire, the service that is provided in terms of online information about our venues and features for our events has been fantastic. It's been really great value for us and has helped drive more traffic to our website and raise the profile of the Brewery. "We have been working with Jerry and his team at Explore Gloucestershire for the past 10 years and they have helped Birdland redefine its image and presentation. This has been achieved by their commitment to and understanding of the business, a rare commodity. Leaflet and advert production has been excellent, combined with exposure on the website and brochure which are valuable promotional tools.
They are now helping us to produce graphic information/education signs for various aspects of the Park as well as sponsoring our rather unique Penguin webcam.
Birdland still has more ideas to develop and we look forward to the continued support of Explore Gloucestershire."
Simon Blackwell (Director, Birdland Park & Gardens)

"We have found your magazine and website to be an effective and thorough marketing tool for the Forest of Dean, your attention to detail and continual innovations for promoting Gloucestershire (and us) is a refreshing change from the usual 'dead pan' marketing offered by most publications. “We began working with Explore Gloucestershire on behalf of our clients Sudeley Castle. Jerry and his team have been delightful from the start, proactive with their advice and quick to react to our press releases and marketing needs. We have some long and fascinating conversations! The printed guide is comprehensively distributed and we find that the coverage is invaluable in spreading the word about Sudeley. The online presence is great for promoting events and special offers and Jerry is very speedy and proficient at getting our promotions online. I have recommended Explore Gloucestershire to a host of clients and contacts, I wouldn’t do that if it didn’t work for us."

"Explore Gloucestershire have done so much for Café René over the years, it is quite beyond measure. They have given us honest opinion on advertising and we have found them so knowledgeable in all aspects.
Jerry (the owner) is a man of such passion, and so he understands our passion here at the René. From wonderful photos of our premises, to a vibrant advert in the booklet, to a great presence on the website - Explore Gloucestershire have publicised our restaurant and pub in a manner that no other medium has come close to!
Their design team have now assisted us in putting together an ‘identity’ for our new premises, The Tiger’s Eye at The Old Bell. Other advertising publications have mentioned that the adverts produced by Explore Gloucestershire are really ‘stylish and wow’ – they tie into the style and class of the premises and food perfectly.
Jerry and Karen of Explore Gloucestershire go beyond advertising sales – we class them as friends!"

"Click and Jump Ltd needed to expand awareness that Skydiving was available in the area, as our exclusive clients 'The Red Devil's' were planning to offer tandem skydives at South Cerney Airfield.
after much research Explore Gloucestershire stood head & shoulders above their competition, the team were helpful well informed and already new how to target our audience. Jerry even signed up for a Skydive...after some gentle coaxing! A great service from a great team."

"A strong, vibrant and very informative guide to the joys of adventure within Gloucestershire. It has sufficient polish to avoid the 'dummed down' look, and the whole suggests that the proprietors hail from an age group in sympathy with young and old alike! Long may it continue!"
Davis Hughes (Marketing Manager for Dean Forest Railway) about our magazine.

"Working around the country as I do it is really important to build good partnerships with local companies that you can trust and build a good relationships with and I have certainly found this to be the case with Explore Gloucestershire. The printed guide is probably among the best for local information but really importantly is looks good hence the good pick up rates. This is backed up very impressively by the website which is a very clean, user friendly site that has grown and grown. None of this would be possible without the enthusiasm of the team behind Explore Gloucestershire and I always look forward to working with them."

"The Cotswold Farm Park has been pleased to work with Jerry from Explore Gloucestershire for our promotional and printing needs since 2004. As such we have been involved with Explore Gloucestershire since its inception, and feel that the website and printed guide is a valuable addition to our marketing presence. The quality of the website and guide reflects the quality of the attractions in the Gloucestershire area, as well as giving visitors a true flavour of the variety of interesting places to visit and things to do. The Explore Gloucestershire magazine has a wide circulation and is always present within display stands we have spot-checked, and in some instances even has its own adjacent rack as the guide is so popular. We are very happy to recommend the website and printed guide to any business looking to welcome visitors to the area."

Jerry and his team are great to work with, making the whole thing easy, which for me makes a huge difference as I am very short of time most of my life. They took the whole task over and made a great advert for us, and kept me in touch with what was happening at all times. A first class service from great people and a good website - here's to you Explore Gloucestershire!!

"Jerry and his team are a real asset to both the people of Gloucestershire and the attractions/event organizers in the area. Through their dedicated hard work, Explore Gloucestershire (EXG) has become an authoritative one-stop guide to events, attractions and other cultural highlights waiting to be discovered and enjoyed. Their brochure is definitely one of the two most popular out there, owing to its clear and attractive layout with maps. The email newsletters are a valuable way of reaching a large audience and EXG are reliable at collating the events and making sure that our news is given a presence. The website is also informative and generous in terms of featuring our events.
In summary, by being so obliging in including us in various ways in their innovative promotions, EXG have been very helpful and effective in spreading the word about our activities."

"White Mountain Promotions specialise in classic / progressive rock tribute bands, promoting shows all over the south of England but being based near Liphook in Hampshire, halfway between London and Portsmouth, it can be very difficult promoting remotely for shows as far afield as Gloucestershire.
Our first show in the area was at The Corn Hall - Cirencester on 8th July 2006, new to this game we naively advertised anywhere and everywhere, spent a fortune in doing so, got our fingers burnt severely by the experience but there is always a positive to be gained from a negative situation, fans who did come along to that show were so impressed with the Pink Floyd band (Perfect Alibi) that we started building up a following in the area and now regularly perform at Gloucester Guidhall and Subscription Rooms in Stroud.
Very importantly for us though was that we gained another positive out of that show, in the last minute panic over poor ticket sales we made contact with an impressive new website dedicated to the Gloucester region, exploregloucestershire.co.uk and by all accounts were one of the first paying customers to the new enterprise.
3 years on we are slowly increasing our presence in the area, much of that success can be attributed to the quality of the bands on show but from a marketing perspective its been made easier with the fabulous support we have received from Jerry and his team at Explore Gloucestershire for our shows whenever we are in town.
Our next show is G2 genesis at The Subscription Rooms in Stroud on Friday 13th November following up on their successful show at Gloucester Guildhall in April, you got it, our first port of call will be to set up a marketing campaign with Explore Gloucestershire."
