Dragon Egg Trail at Painswick Rococo Garden
Saturday 23 March – Sunday 7 April 2024
After the success of last year's egg laying, the dragons have returned to the Garden for another year, with the possibility of new species emerging. The Cotswold Dragon Conservation Society is once again inviting budding dragonologists to join the search for hidden eggs. Here's what participants need to know:
- Dogs on short leads are welcome and are believed to have a unique ability to assist in finding dragon eggs.
- The Garden's Cafe will be open for refreshments for dragonologists of all ages, with indulging in delicious cakes while hunting for eggs highly recommended.
- The last entry for egg hunting is at 4pm, and participants can start any time after 10am. It's suggested to allow 2-3 hours to explore the Garden's magic.
- Dragons may have concealed their eggs in the maze or on one of the Garden's peculiar follies, so be prepared to search high and low.
The egg hunt trail, with a chocolate prize*, costs £2.50 per child in addition to regular admission. Trail sheets can be purchased online when booking or at the Welcome Desk upon arrival.
