Nature in Art at Wallsworth Hall is the world's first museum and art gallery dedicated to art inspired by nature. They run creative art courses throughout the year.
This workshop emphasises our connection to nature, encouraging participants to slow down and observe the intricate structure, texture, and beauty of foraged botanical elements from everyday hedgerows.
Using a clay impression to create a mould, the mould is then filled with plaster and Cornish stone, forming a positive mirror image of the original clay piece. Similar to a botanical monoprint, this process is simple, effective, and brings out the often unnoticed beauty of nature, offering an enjoyable and immediate creative experience.
All materials will be supplied at a charge of £7.50, paid on the day.
