Nature in Art at Wallsworth Hall is the world's first museum and art gallery dedicated to art inspired by nature. They run creative art courses throughout the year.
In this course you will explore the creative world of monoprinting. Inspired by Degas, who used monoprinting to create base layers for his paintings, this workshop offers multiple approaches to the medium. Carole will guide you through the process, from painting directly onto the plate to using leaves and objects to create marks in the ink. You'll experiment with various techniques, getting hands-on and making prints you’ll be proud of. By the end of the day, you'll have a selection of prints to take home.
All materials supplied within session for a charge of £5 to be paid on the day.
