Surrounded by towering veteran beeches and oaks, this hidden stretch of nature offers a chance to spot signs of local wildlife and uncover the fascinating heritage of this unique landscape.
Ideal for all ages, these walks are a gentle exploration of the natural world, though they may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Multiple time slots will be available throughout the day, allowing plenty of opportunities to take part.
Follow the Gruffalo Trail
Venture into the enchanting woodland trail, inspired by the beloved children's book The Gruffalo. Open year-round, this five-acre trail follows the journey of the famous mouse through the beautiful Forest of Dean, meeting familiar characters along the way.
