- Rent a tree. Instead of buying a cut tree, you can rent a pot grown one, water it whilst you have it, and return it in good condition. Rental trees can be booked any time, but can’t be placed in the warm until mid December (as a living tree it can’t be inside too long). Rentals start from £22 (for a 3 foot tree) – with a deposit of £15 – refundable if you return it in good shape. Local delivery and collection is available at an additional cost. Leave your deposit and you can have the same tree (just a little larger!) next year too.
