After a festive indulgence why not shed a few pounds with a healthy walk in the Cotswolds.

The Cotswold Way stretches from Chipping Campden in the north, all the way down to Bath and offers just over 100 miles of wonderful walks. The National Trail have split the Cotswold Way into 13 different walks and are available to download for free with simple instructions and maps to help you explore the Cotswolds - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Each route is designed to be as approachable and convenient as possible – whether you arrive by bus, car or on foot, they all benefit from the high quality standards followed by National Trails across the country.

The routes are aimed at walkers of various abilities and are graded according to the number of stiles, steep sections etc. This information is included in each route card, but for all it is recommend stout footwear and clothing to suit the changeable weather of the Cotswolds - on Cleeve hill especially, soaking fog can descend in a matter of minutes!
