Latest line-up news from 2000trees Festival
Tall Ships, Wolf Alice, Canterbury, Arcane Roots and Lonely the Brave will all perform at this summer’s 2000trees Festival.
Gloucestershire’s multi-award-winning, three-day event will also see Natives, Dad Rocks!, &U&I, Slaves and Radstewart among a 100-strong bill.
They join Thursday night headliners Dan le Sac vs Scroobious Pip, The Cave co-headliner Jamie Lenman, Gnarwolves, Johnny Foreigner, Ben Marwood, The Retrospective Soundtrack Players and Oxygen Thief, who were all announced last week.
Ticket sales are higher than in 2013 - the year 2000trees won the Grass Roots Festival Award at the UK Festival Awards. The last 1,000 tickets are still available for Thursday’s Early Entry night, which also includes a comedy tent.
The festival takes place at Upcote Farm, near Cheltenham, from July 10-12 and it has been a record year for band applications.
2000trees organiser James Scarlett said: “This is our best ever line-up and we really want music fans to head to our website and discover their new favourite bands by checking out all the video links for bands we’ve booked this year.
“It is really rewarding that so many of our previous acts want to return year after year, there’s a strong bond between bands and our audience which why we book fans’ favourites to come back. But we always look to the future of new and underground British music and it’s exciting to see how much talent is out there.”
