Cap on prices at Cascade Leisure Centre for second year in a row

Cap on prices at Cascade Leisure Centre for second year in a row

Customers at Cascades Leisure Centre are being given a New Year get-fit incentive, as it is announced membership and class prices are being frozen for the second year running.

Cascades, which is run by Tewkesbury Borough Council, wishes to make health and fitness accessible to as many people as possible and, in line with this, has agreed to keep its 2015 prices the same as 2013.

The freeze will apply to all Cascades’ services, including daily entry fees, membership fees, the health suite, classes and parties.

This will allow the leisure centre to continue to offer its already competitive prices, with prices as little as £4.25 for an adult gym and swim and a full monthly membership, including access to the gym, swimming pool and health suite, costing only £32.

Tewkesbury Borough Council’s Lead Member for Health and Wellbeing Cllr Claire Wright said: “We hope that this price freeze will come as welcome news to both existing and prospective customers.  One of our main priorities is to make health and fitness available to as many people as possible, so it is very reassuring to know that the cost of leading a healthy lifestyle here in Tewkesbury Borough will not be on the rise in 2015”
