Easter Chicks at ICBP!

Easter Chicks at ICBP!

Visit The International Centre for Birds of Prey at Newent this Easter and see the baby birds being hand reared - a sight never forgotten! From baby Eagles to tiny baby Burrowing Owls, you may even be lucky enough to see some of the young owls up close, often found in the shop getting used to visitors!

Achieving charitable status in January 2015, the International Centre for Birds of Prey is a thriving and popular tourist attraction which offers a wonderful day out for any age! Get close to the birds for spectacular photographic opportunities, watch Eagles soar, Falcons stoop, Owls amuse, Hawks and Vultures entertain. Daily flying demonstrations - whatever the weather - during which the passionate staff will enlighten you with facts about the birds you will see. First display 11.30am. There are over 250 birds to view from huge eagles to tiny owls, beautiful grounds to explore and relax in peaceful surroundings. Book an Experience Day and get up close and personal with the birds or join an Owl Evening – vouchers for both of these make wonderfully unusual presents! All details can be found at www.icbp.org

There's a play area for children, picnic facilities, café, shop and large free car park. There's also excellent disabled access.

The ICBP is open 7 days a week from 1 February until 30 November, from 10.30am.

The International Centre for Birds of Prey can be found at Boulsdon House, Newent, Gloucesterhire, GL18 1JJ. Follow the signs, NOT the Sat Nav which only gets you close.
