Stagecoach West Sponsors Miss Cheltenham Finalist

Stagecoach West

Local bus operator, Stagecoach West, have announced they are sponsoring 20-year-old Jessica Hutchins in her quest to become Miss Cheltenham. Jessica has made it through to the finals of the competition and will continue to fundraise for local charities over the coming weeks ahead of the Grand Final on Saturday 26th March at Princess Hall, Cheltenham Ladies College.

The finalists for Miss Cheltenham have now been announced, with 20-year-old Jessica Hutchins from Hardwicke, Gloucester, over the moon that she’s going through to the grand final.

Jessica entered Miss Cheltenham with an ambitious agenda of utilising the role of being an Ambassador for Cheltenham as an interesting and exciting destination, raising awareness and funds for local charities and working on safety initiatives for the town.  In a bid to become Miss Cheltenham, Jessica is determined to raise as much as possible for her chosen charities, the Hollie Gazzard Trust and the Pied Piper Appeal.

Over the last two to three weeks Jessica has collected donations through charity events she’s organised and attended, with an impressive total of £600 raised so far. Jessica’s father is a part of the Stagecoach West team of drivers, so Stagecoach were more than happy to provide the Vintage Routemaster for Jessica to fundraise, where shoppers will be able to purchase cakes, take part in a tombola and purchase refreshing drinks. Shoppers can find the Vintage Routemaster outside the Beechwood Arcade shopping centre on Tuesday 22nd March between 9am and 6pm.

To vote for Jessica to win Miss Cheltenham, please text ‘MISS CHELTENHAM10’ to 63333. Texts cost 50p plus your standard network rate.
