Conservation Event: 'Lemur Week' at Cotswold Wildlife Park


Lemur Week at Cotswold Wildlife Park

As Lemurs are now one of the most threatened groups of mammals on the planet Cotswold Wildlife Park are hosting a week of fun activities and keeper talks to help raise awareness and funds for Lemur Conservation in Madagascar.

During the week there will be daily Lemur Talk & Feed at 12 noon and 2pm, with Keepers dressed as Lemurs. There will be a bean bag game called ‘Lemur Dunk’ - £1 a go with prizes, along with a raffle where you can win a Lemur Encounter and Adoption and a stall selling Lemur themed items and find out about Lemur conservation.

We are also running a Lemur Drawing Competition with the best picture in each category winning a Lemur Encounter. Draw and send us your best Lemur picture, focusing on a conservation message. Entries should be on a single sheet of paper no larger than A4. There are four age categories: 8 and under, 9-13 years, 14-17 years and 18 years and over.
Please hand into the Lemur Kiosk, situated in the Walled Garden during Lemur Week, or post your entries to (one per person): Lemur Week Competition, Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens, Burford, Oxfordshire, OX18 4JP to arrive no
later than Sunday 11th June.
