Shakespeare plays thrive in Gloucestershire this year

The plays of William Shakespeare can be seen at some of the most picturesque and atmospheric venues in Gloucestershire this Summer. These scenic attractions lend themselves to stunning backdrops for a perfect afternoon or evening performance. With lots of outdoor performances it’s the perfect opportunity for a summer picnic with friends and family. 



Venues so far include:

The mysterious Roman iron-ore mines at Puzzlewood in the Forest of Dean.

The grounds of the magnificent, medieval Berkeley Castle.
  • Beautiful Batsford Arboretum in the north Cotswolds.

The Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham.

The Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury.
