The Brewery Quarter’s Summer Jam Festival – a two-day celebration of music, food and drink, is returning to the heart of Cheltenham on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th August.

This year’s Summer Jam stars chosen by The Brewery Quarter’s Facebook followers and set to bring the soundtrack to your weekend are… singer-songwriter Chris Smee, Disco-Funk band Soular, and Ska-Funk band Ready 5!

Also performing at this year's event are headliners Tux Fizz and Great Big Feet, plus Shut Up and Dance, Jazz Jive Swing, Mark Walby, Vince Freeman, Josh Edkins and DJ Louis Capaldi.
Food, drink and outdoor fun from Brewery Quarter venues

Brewhouse and Kitchen will be rolling out the barrels for its pop up bar once again showcasing a selection of its amazing beers. With the hopportunity to try before you buy, their selection of craft beers and chilled wine make the perfect accompaniment to the food and tunes.

Cosy Club will be showcasing some serious flare as their mixologists get ready to shake up some excitement from their outdoor Chase Distilery cocktail bar. They’ll also be hosting cocktail master classes on the main stage on Saturday afternoon so you can learn how to make the perfect Mojito and handing out free tapas. Whilst Chiquitos will be dishing up paella and selling cold beer on draft outside, Nandos will be enticing visitors with free tasty wing giveaways, Frankie & Benny’s will be offering free pizza samples, and The Real China will be rustling up delicious summer rolls. Look out for an outdoor cider, soft drinks and snacks bar and an inflatable lane from Hollywood Bowl and roaming costume characters across the weekend.

Cineworld will be outdoors for the weekend raising funds for Children in Need, selling ice creams, facepainting and offering the chance to win lots of movie prizes in a raffle. They will also host a dedicated busking hour with the help of young local musicians on the Summer Jam stage on Saturday from 2pm. Harvester will be getting into the festival spirit with a Hawaiian theme, and for a charitable donation you'll be able to pick up sombreros from Chiquito. Look out for all this and more at various times across the weekend.

A Wholefoods cider and snacks stall will also bring an array of locally sourced food and drink, including flagons of Old Rosie for just £5 each, plus introducing some interesting new fruit ciders from Westons including Rhubarb and Damson. Snacks include their in-house giant corn, spicy broad beans and pork scratchings.
