Christmas Tales with Grandad at Gloucester Guildhall
Come and bless us with your presents at Gloucester Guildhall this Christmas for a toasty fireside show which we’re sure will be a cracker.
From Tuesday 5th December to Saturday 9th December, Pickled Image brings to you ‘Christmas Tales with Grandad’, the perfect Christmas family day out. With the use of mesmerising puppetry they tell the stories of a special pair of Christmas pants, the mystery of the snow!ake necklace and the mischievous shenanigans of the Tomten – a feisty Gnome, who loves the chance to swap gossip with woodland creatures, and who might just be the reason Grandad can’t find his favourite tree decoration.
Formed in 2000 Pickled Image has over 15 years’ experience in the world of puppetry creating numerous shows including; The Shop of Little Horrors, Yana and the Yeti, Houdini’s Suitcase and Wold Tales. They have also gained international recognition and numerous awards for their dark-humoured shows.
Throughout the show, Granddad will welcome imaginative input from the audience as he weaves his own brand of heart-warming storytelling and festive cheer, something for all the family to get involved with.
Last year the Guildhall Christmas show ‘Breaking Ice’ was a sell out and we aiming for the same this year with ‘Christmas Tales with Grandad’, so make sure you book your tickets fast and come and join for the perfect hollyday show.
