Sitting in the heart of the Cotswolds, Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park has a long-standing reputation for a fun-filled day out.
Adam's father, Joe Henson founded the Cotswold Farm Park in 1971 to help protect some of our rare breeds of farm animal. Over the years the Farm Park has grown to be one of Gloucestershire's biggest visitor attractions with so much to offer for young and old alike with a growing amount of activities and fun things to do.
Visitors of all ages can interact closely with the animals, learn about farming – past and present – and soak up the beautiful surroundings in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
As the home of rare breed conservation, there are over 50 flocks and herds of farm animals to meet, including Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs and Highland cattle. Under cover and protected from the elements, the Discovery Barn, Soft Play, Adventure Barn and Animal Barn can be enjoyed all year round.
The recently renovated visitor centre is outside the Farm Park and free to enter, serving homemade food, prepared from fresh ingredients. The shop stocks a selection of its own meat, along with a range of local, handmade and unique gifts.
There’s plenty on offer outside the Farm Park too. Experience the stunning diversity of animals and plants by completing a picturesque two mile Wildlife Walk, or extend your stay by booking a pitch on the campsite.
