Temporary Closure of the Museum of Gloucester

Temporary Closure of the Museum of Gloucester

Coronavirus Update from the Museum of Gloucester.

Please note the Museum of Gloucester and Tourist Information Centre is currently CLOSED.

Due to government advice Gloucester City Council has taken the decision to close its art and cultural venues for the foreseeable future to limit non-essential social contact.
The health, and wellbeing of our customers, artists and staff is our highest priority.

In the interest of your safety we have decided to reschedule or cancel all events up to 17th April and close the Museum of Gloucester and Tourist Information Centre to the public.
Due to the unprecedented nature of this situation, it may be necessary for us to rearrange more events in the coming weeks. We are in constant contact with customers for upcoming workshops and events. We will continue to update our social media pages with new information as we have it.

Ticket holders will be contacted individually to arrange transfers of tickets, and refunds if required. For Tourist Information services, National Express tickets can be purchased at Gloucester Transport Hub. Information can also be found on the City of Gloucester website at http://www.visitgloucester.co.uk and the Tourist Information Centre can be contacted on 01452 396572 or mailto:tourism@gloucester.gov.uk.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time. Please be aware our small team will be extremely busy, whilst they try to assist ticket holders as quickly as possible. We ask that customers only contact our reception desk with urgent enquiries, to allow the team to work through each event accordingly.

Please note our on-site reception will remain closed during this time, in line with the government advice on social distancing.

We would like to thank you for your understanding, and for your continued support of our venue. We are extremely disappointed to need to make such arrangements, but the health of our customers and staff must take priority in these uncertain times.

Museum of Gloucester and Tourist Information Centre Team.
