Bottle Feeding returns to Cotswold Farm Park

Bottle Feeding returns to Cotswold Farm Park

This month, Cotswold Farm Park’s family favourite event, Bottle Feeding, is set to return after a 2-year break. With COVID restrictions over the last couple of years resulting in the newborns being fed behind closed doors, the Farm Park are thrilled to be handing over their bottles for visitors to get hands on in the Animal Barn once again.

The Bottle Feeding event is a memorable experience for all ages and is an exciting chance for visitors to feed lambs & kids, learn about British Farming and find out how the young animals are reared.

The event follows on from the Farm Park’s successful Lambing & Kidding season where over 1,000 lambs and around 60 goat kids were born throughout spring. Visitors can meet the new members of the herd as well as rare breed farm animals including the ancient Soay sheep, giant Suffolk Punch horse and spotty Gloucestershire pig.

Farmer and TV presenter, Adam Henson, shared “ The opportunity for our visitors to bottle feed our lambs and goat kids always brings lots of excitement to the Farm Park, so it’s fantastic that Bottle Feeding will be making a return this year! After seeing so many families enjoy watching our ewes give birth, I can’t wait to welcome them back and see them getting involved with feeding some of the youngsters.”

The flock’s bottles will be filled with milk twice daily (11.30am and 3.30pm) for visitors to get up close to the growing youngsters and give them a bottle to enjoy.

The long-anticipated event will run between 30th April and 15th July and tickets can be booked in advance via the link below. Visitors can keep up-to-date on the Farm Park’s flock via @cotswoldfarmpark.
