2010 'Gloucestershire at its Best' Photography Competition

2010 'Gloucestershire at its Best' Photography Competition

Explore Gloucestershire are proud to announce that we have teamed up with Cotswold Weddings for the 4th 'Gloucestershire at its Best' photography competition 2010.

Cotswold Weddings is one of Gloucestershires leading wedding photographers, enjoying a reputation for excellence in the field that is second to none.

Whether you’ve taken a photograph of a frozen lake in the Royal Forest of Dean, an early morning misty summer shot of an enchanted Cotswold valley, autumn leaves falling in Cheltenham’s famous Promenade, or fresh spring daffodils in the grounds of Gloucester Cathedral - then you’ve the chance of not only winning £250  but also seeing your photograph in print and on our website.

The winning photograph will be chosen by judges, Oli Davis and Jane Baker from the regions leading wedding photographers, Cotswold Weddings in January 2011.

Last year’s winner, Robert Wolstenholme from Malmesbury, took this stunning photograph, which we felt captured the essence of Gloucestershire. Taken on an autumn evening with the sun setting at Saltridge Wood, in the Cotswold Commons and Beechwoods National Nature Reserve, Robert really captured the warmth, and welcoming beauty of this quintessential Cotswold scene, looking down the Painswick Valley.

If you can think you have a photograph which is better than David's, and captures Gloucestershire at its best, then enter the competition (starts April 1 2010).
