Latest update on council services in Cheltenham

The severe weather conditions mean that refuse and recycling collections in Cheltenham remain suspended.

Crews are operating a very limited service in the town centre area to clear waste off the streets and empty bins.

Service operating hours
Whilst the majority of services continue as normal, some opening hours have changed as follows:
The Swindon Road recycling centre is open as usual.
Leisure@cheltenham will be closing today at the earlier time of 6pm.  The centre will open at 8am and close at 6pm tomorrow. On Friday 24 December, the centre will open at 8am and close at 4pm.   All block bookings and ‘exercise to music’ classes are cancelled. The Prince of Wales Stadium is closed.
The Art Gallery and Museum is open until 4pm today although the café is closed.
The Town Hall will remain open until 5.30pm and phone lines will close at 5.30pm for the box office instead of 8pm.  On Friday 24 December the Town Hall will close at 4.00pm. The Pump Room will be open until 4pm for tourist. No events are on at either venue until the 27 December.

Cheltenham Borough Homes offices are open as normal today.
The operating hours are based on weather conditions remaining the same. For enquiries, members of the public can call the relevant service area directly or call Cheltenham Borough Council on 01242 262626.
