Scary volunteers needed for Frightmare at Over Farm!

Frightmare Halloween Festival 2011

Over Farm looking for “Scare” Volunteers for the Annual Frightmare Halloween Festival at Over Farm from 20 September 2011.

How many of you have hidden behind the work cupboard and jumped out on a colleague? How many of you have jumped out on the kids from behind the kitchen door and made them scream?

Well, now you have the chance not only to scare work colleagues or the kids, but you have the chance to scare the whole of Gloucestershire!

Over Farm are looking for volunteers to audition for their Frightmare Halloween Festival, the South West’s largest Halloween event. Whether you want to play a major speaking role or more of a background or behind the scenes role all places need to be filled.

Auditions take place at the farm on Saturday 1st October and you must register in advance by going to www.frightmare.co.uk and booking your audition time.

Successful applicants will then be called back to take part in “Fear Acadamy” the UKs first training school for Scare Actors, on Sunday 16th October.

Porl Matthews Director of Scare UK commented “We are delighted to have been invited to Over Farm to once again help train the scare crew for this fantastic event. It is brilliant to see local attractions wanting to expand and my team and i are looking forward to bringing our unrivaled expertise and experience gained from years of working with the major theme parks and other award winning attractions to help make this as professional and as effective as possible.”

Rob Keene, owner of Over Farm commented “It’s fantastic that Porl and his team are coming along to train our actors, it’s just one of the ways we are working to improve our Halloween event year on year… thought last year was scary, just wait until you see what we have this year.”
