Trick or Treet Week at Birdland and Jurassic Journey
Saturday 25 October – Sunday 2 November 2025
Birdland Park & Gardens will once again be the place to flock this October half term as it hosts its much-loved Trick or Tweet Week.
Keepers will be hiding creepy crawlies inside pumpkins, allowing visitors to watch how different species use their intelligence and dexterity to forage for food. Families can also enjoy a full schedule of daily talks, where some of the park’s cleverest residents will demonstrate their natural foraging skills.
Head Keeper Alistair Keen explains: “Environmental enrichment provides stimulation for our birds and encourages them to use natural behaviours to solve challenges. By hiding food such as crickets or locust inside pumpkins, it means the birds have to forage to get to their food.”
From woodland paths to aviaries, families will be invited to join the spooky Halloween Trail, spotting feathered friends along the way.
Trick or Tweet Week is included in the standard admission price, making it the perfect half term activity with a mix of wildlife discovery, outdoor adventure, and Halloween fun in the heart of the Cotswolds.
