Guiting Power has another wide range of splendid musicians from many genres for this year’s festival.
Performers include the wonderful Sheku and Braimah Kanneh-Mason with the 28 piece Fantasia Orchestra, the legendary singer Barbara Dickson, soul/gospel star Izo FitzRoy, The 53rd Guiting Music Festival which takes place in the picturesque Cotswold village of jazz artist Joe Stilgoe, piano man extraordinaire Tom Seals and World Music star Seckou Keita’s Homeland Band. Guiting Music Festival will once again showcase an exciting line-up of classical, jazz and blues music over ten days featuring internationally renowned musicians at its annual event in the Cotswold village of Guiting Power
Classical highlights include cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason and his violinist brother Braimah with Plinio Fernandes and the 28 piece Fantasia Orchestra, highly gifted Ukranian pianist Vitaly Pisarenko, exciting violinist,Alena Baeva, with renowned pianist Vadym Kholodenko, and the Fretwork Viol Consort with mezzo-soprano Helen Charlston. Also featured, legendary folk/pop singer Barbara Dickson, jazz singer Joe Stilgoe and The Entertainers, piano man extraordinaire,Tom Seals, powerful soul-gospel singer Izo Fitzroy, blues star Elles Bailey and World Music star Seckou Keita’s Homeland Band.
Located: the village is located between near Stow-on-the-Wold and Winchcombe by the B4068 from Andoversford to Naunton
