Gigspanner Big Band are a unique force in British folk music, celebrated for their high-energy, virtuosic performances that bridge traditional roots with bold experimentation.

Originally formed as a trio led by Peter Knight of Steeleye Span, the line-up expanded to become Gigspanner Big Band, joined by Edgelarks and John Spiers of Bellowhead. The result is a powerhouse collaboration combining deep roots knowledge with fearless musical invention.
