Nature in Art at Wallsworth Hall is the world's first museum and art gallery dedicated to art inspired by nature. They run creative art courses throughout the year.
This two-day course delves into the versatile craft of glass engraving using a drill. Beginners will learn basic techniques, while those with prior experience can expand their skills. The workshop covers surface engraving, creating 3D effects with intaglio (low relief), and methods for adding colour. Participants will work on both flat glass and vessels, leaving with at least one self-made masterpiece.
No previous experience or artistic expertise is required, though some manual dexterity is necessary.
