Art Courses at Nature in Art - Painting Still Life

Nature in Art at Wallsworth Hall is the world's first museum and art gallery dedicated to art inspired by nature. They run creative art courses throughout the year.
In this workshop, participants will explore various compositional ideas and guidelines, arranging and lighting fruit on a transparent plate with different coloured backgrounds. The goal is to create intriguing and unique compositions, shadow shapes, and colour relationships. Participants will sketch their compositions on canvas before applying paint dynamically, focusing on colour mixing, brushwork, and effective shadow painting techniques.
