Sir Tim Rice—the multi-award-winning, internationally renowned lyricist—will return to theatre stages across the UK in 2025 with a special live musical theatre event: My Life In Musicals – I Know Him So Well.
This unique show will see Sir Tim Rice reflect on his illustrious career at the heart of musical theatre, sharing behind-the-scenes stories of his greatest hits (and the occasional miss). Audiences will gain exclusive insight into the creation of some of the most iconic songs in musical theatre history, from his collaborations with Andrew Lloyd Webber, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, Elton John, and Alan Menken.
With live performances from a spectacular lineup of West End singers and musicians, led by Duncan Waugh, the show promises an unforgettable journey through his legendary songbook. While Sir Tim Rice himself won’t be taking centre stage as a vocalist, he may treat audiences to the occasional surprise—though he assures fans he won’t be singing Don’t Cry For Me Argentina!
