Set in the idyllic village of Guiting Power, near Stow-on-the-Wold, the Guiting Music Festival returns for its 54th year from 25 July to 3 August 2025. This much-loved celebration brings a unique blend of classical, jazz, Latin, folk and blues to the heart of the Cotswolds. A staple of Gloucestershire’s summer cultural calendar, the festival offers a mix of indoor and open-air performances, perfect for music lovers and families alike.
The venue hosts a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere with a marquee bar offering wine, beer, and soft drinks alongside a selection of food available at every performance. The two open-air Sundays are especially family-friendly, where guests are encouraged to bring picnic rugs, chairs, gazebos, and even well-behaved dogs. Free parking is available for all attendees.
Whether attending for a single evening or the full ten days, this enchanting village setting and world-class entertainment ensure an unforgettable summer experience.

10 days of great live music in the heart of the Cotswolds
- Friday 25 July – Steeleye Span, legendary pioneers of British folk-rock, open the festival with a set featuring new arrangements and timeless classics.
- Saturday 26 July – Gary Williams presents a glamorous tribute to Las Vegas stars including Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Matt Monro.
- Sunday 27 July – Dominic Alldis Trio perform jazz standards to open Open-Air Jazz Day.
- Sunday 27 July – Ronnie Scott’s All Stars headline the day with their signature Soho jazz club sound.
- Monday 28 July – Roberto Pla Latin Ensemble, a 12-piece band, deliver electrifying Afro-Cuban and South American rhythms.
- Tuesday 29 July – Trio Meister Raro perform a classical programme featuring works by Debussy, Schumann, and Mozart.
- Wednesday 30 July – Tamsin Waley-Cohen & Friends return with a programme including Brahms and Schubert.
- Thursday 31 July – Piano Four Hands, featuring Simon Callaghan and Hiroaki Takenouchi, perform music by Schubert, Mozart, and Barber.
- Friday 1 August – Montenegrin Guitar Duo – Goran Krivokapić and Danijel Cerović – perform works by Bach, de Falla, and Piazzolla.
- Saturday 2 August – Ruby Turner, Britain's Queen of Soul-Gospel, delivers a powerhouse performance.
- Sunday 3 August – Mississippi MacDonald and Cheltenham's RaRa launch Open-Air Blues Day.
- Sunday 3 August – The Cinelli Brothers, 2024 UK Blues Band of the Year, close the festival with their soulful, contemporary blues.
