Children’s May Half Term Activities at Nature in Art
Tuesday 27 – Friday 30 May 2025
Nature in Art at Wallsworth Hall is the world's first museum and art gallery dedicated to art inspired by nature. They run creative art activities for children of all ages during the school holiday periods.
This half term choose from the following activities based around tree and flowers:
- Tuesday 27 May: CD Dreamcatchers
Using donated CD's, colourful wool, flowers and beads to make fantastic eyecatching deam catchers.
- Wednesday 28 May: Clay Minibeasts
Children will forage for natural resources from the beautiful garden, alongside using clay, to create fantastic mini beasts while learning a range of fun clay skills.
- Thursday 29 May: Picasso Portraits
Participants will create their own collection of vibrant, brightly coloured paper, which they will then snip up to make some fun Picasso-style portraits.
- Friday 30 May: Kids Yoga and Button Art
The session begins with some yoga fun and games, ideally taking place outside if the weather is good. In the second half, participants will create a magnificent button masterpiece.
