Whale Song Exhibition: THE HERDS – Make a Whale
Nature in Art at Wallsworth Hall presents a unique creative opportunity as part of the international THE HERDS project, running throughout June and July. This inspiring initiative highlights climate change, animal welfare, and the collective responsibility humanity holds towards protecting the planet and its diverse wildlife.
On Tuesday 27 May and Wednesday 28 May, Nature in Art will host free afternoon workshops where participants can learn about the vital role whales play in the climate ecosystem. Attendees will craft their own magnificent whales from household waste materials, contributing to a collaborative display – a Pod of Whales – featured within the Whale Song Exhibition.
The finished creations will be proudly exhibited until 13 July 2025, after which they will be available for collection by their creators.
