Summer Workshop Week at The Roses
This summer, let your child dive into a week of creativity, performance and fun at The Roses in Tewkesbury. From Monday 28 July to Friday 1 August, the theatre transforms into a vibrant hub of imagination with workshops led by industry professionals.
Participants aged 5 to 18 years will explore a dynamic mix of disciplines including:
- Clowning
- Drama and theatre-making
- Pilates
- Singing and musical theatre
- Songwriting and music
- Production
- Street and jazz dance
Expert guidance comes from returning favourites H Dance Collective, Sound Dog Studios, Nicky’s Workouts, Hannah Paybarah, and Dan Jepson. This year also welcomes newcomers Florrie Taylor, a Commedia dell’arte specialist, and Sam Strachan, who brings energy and creativity in songwriting and clowning.
The week concludes with a relaxed Friday afternoon sharing session where parents and guardians are invited to see a glimpse of what their children have created and learned.
The Roses offers a wide variety of performances, including fantastic tribute acts and stage show musicals. A great night out at the theatre awaits at The Roses, Tewkesbury’s favourite entertainment venue.
