Hidden Monastic Library Experience
Make a visit to Gloucester Cathedral truly memorable with a guided tour of its stunning hidden 15th-century monastic library. Tucked away at the top of a winding spiral staircase, this medieval gem houses an extraordinary collection of ancient books and manuscripts, some dating back to the 11th century.
This season’s Natural History Special – The Lions, Birds and Dragons invites visitors to explore depictions of the natural world through the historic texts and imagery within the library’s atmospheric setting.
