Yoga For Kids at Nature in Art
Tuesday 29 July 2025
Yoga for Kids at Nature in Art is a brand-new addition to the holiday activities from Easter 2025, designed to introduce children aged 3–11 to the joy and benefits of yoga. Led by Laura, the museum’s Education Officer and a fully qualified Children’s Yoga Teacher (Barth & Collins School of Yoga), these inclusive sessions prioritise movement, mindfulness and fun.
Held every Tuesday during the school holidays from 3:15pm to 4:00pm, each session costs just £5 per child, which includes gallery entry for one accompanying adult. Yoga mats are provided, and while adults may join in, they’ll be asked to share a mat due to limited space.
Classes will include a mixture of yoga poses, playful challenges and breathing exercises designed to improve physical health, develop mindfulness, support emotional regulation and build communication skills and confidence. On sunny days, sessions may even move outside into the peaceful garden setting.
Children must wear comfortable clothing, and those under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Spaces are limited, so early booking is advised.
Nature in Art at Wallsworth Hall is the world's first museum and art gallery dedicated to art inspired by nature. They run creative courses throughout the year for adults and children.
