Heritage Crafts at the Dean Heritage Centre
Thursday 7 & Friday 8 August 2025
Head to the Craft Hut and join Wendy and Howard for a hands-on heritage craft experience using reclaimed materials and natural fleece. Visitors can get creative making unique items with traditional techniques, and even have a go at sewing on a vintage sewing machine. Each participant will have the chance to craft something special to take home.
Follow the Gruffalo Trail
Venture into the enchanting woodland trail, inspired by the beloved children's book The Gruffalo. Open year-round, this five-acre trail follows the journey of the famous mouse through the beautiful Forest of Dean, meeting familiar characters along the way.
Relax at The Heritage Coffee Shop
After a day of exploring, recharge at The Heritage Coffee Shop, offering a selection of delicious refreshments and homemade treats in a cosy setting.
