Halloween Farm Trail & Pumpkin Picking at Primrose Vale

Thursday 23 October – Sunday 2 November 2025

Primrose Vale is delighted to welcome families back for its much-loved Halloween Trail this autumn half term. This engaging event offers a fantastic adventure across the farm, packed with activities designed for children of all ages.
Event Highlights:

  • Timed Tickets: Advance booking is essential for designated time slots, ensuring smooth parking and comfortable visitor numbers.
  • The trail offers two routes: one for younger children and another for older ones. Suitable for ages 3–15, it’s a fun half-term adventure with a small treat at the end.
  • Food and Refreshments: Guests can relax at the Potting Shed Café, which serves hot drinks and light refreshments. A marquee with comfortable seating provides a cosy space to unwind.
  • Pumpkin Picking: Separate from the main trail, families can book pumpkin-picking tickets for the field located across the road. Allow up to an hour for this activity. Please note, wheelbarrows must remain in the pumpkin field, and access between the sites is by foot or car at visitors’ own risk.

Practical Advice: Due to potentially muddy conditions, sturdy footwear is recommended. Pushchairs that cope well on grass can usually manage, although some areas may be difficult to access.

Location:
Primrose Vale sits just off the A46 Shurdington Road, only 50 yards from the A417/A46 junction towards Cheltenham. It is also close to M5 junction 11A, with Gloucester just 4.5 miles away and Cheltenham 3.5 miles away.
