Gloucester Docks Christmas Lights Switch On

Join the community for a sparkling evening at Gloucester Docks as the Food Dock hosts its magical Christmas Lights Switch On on Thursday 13 November.
- The festive evening begins at 5.00pm, when visitors can gather on the Quayside to enjoy carols from the St Cecilia Singers, sip on takeaway mulled wine or hot chocolate, and meet Father Christmas himself.
- At 6.00pm, Father Christmas will lead the official countdown to light up the Docks Christmas Tree and Food Dock Snowflake Projections, transforming the waterfront into a winter wonderland.
- From 6.15pm, local musician Libby will perform an acoustic set outside Roots + Seeds, adding to the festive atmosphere.
- The event will wrap up around 7.15pm, but guests are encouraged to stay for dinner or drinks at one of the Food Dock’s many eateries.
This joyful celebration marks the true beginning of Christmas at the Docks and has been proudly created in partnership with the Rotary Club of Gloucester and Gloucester Docks.
