Twist and Shout at The Roses Theatre

Friday 30 January 2026

An all-star cast from the West End delivers a musical powerhouse that charts the explosion of Brit Pop in 1962 through to the era of Flower Power and Free Love in the late sixties.

Music lovers are invited to step back to a time when skirts grew shorter and hair grew longer, as an exceptional cast revives iconic hits from The Beatles, Herman’s Hermits, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Rolling Stones, Cilla Black, Manfred Mann, Dusty Springfield, Lulu, Sandy Shaw and many more.

Superb performances and beautifully crafted costumes recreate the sights and sounds of the Swinging Sixties, with a non-stop feast of 40 unforgettable songs including She Loves You, Glad All Over, You’re My World, Jumpin’ Jack Flash, Something Tells Me I’m Into Something Good, Shout, Ferry Cross The Mersey and countless others.

While it is often said, “If you remember the Sixties, you really weren’t there,” Twist and Shout offers the perfect chance to rediscover – or discover – everything that made the decade extraordinary.
